Roles & Responsibilities

The Head of Operations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects of the organization to ensure efficiency, productivity, and the achievement of strategic business objectives.

  • Strategic Planning & Business Acumen:
    • Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies and initiatives that align with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
    • Translate long-term business strategies into actionable daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational plans with clear targets and KPIs.
    • Analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and proactively develop plans to capitalize on them.
    • Contribute to the development of overall business plans and strategies, representing the operational perspective.
  • Team Leadership & Performance Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Set clear, measurable team and individual targets that are aligned with overall business objectives.
    • Monitor team performance against targets, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and effective processes across all operational areas (e.g., production, service delivery, logistics, supply chain, quality control).
    • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within operational workflows and implement data-driven solutions.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Resource Management & Availability:
    • Plan, forecast, and manage resource requirements (human, financial, technological, material) to ensure optimal availability at all times.
    • Collaborate with HR to strategically recruit, onboard, and retain top talent within the operations team.
  • Employee Motivation & Retention:
    • Create a positive and engaging work environment that motivates employees.
    • Develop and implement strategies for employee recognition, professional development, and career growth to enhance employee satisfaction and reduce attrition.
    • Address employee concerns and conflicts effectively and promptly, promoting a fair and respectful workplace.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT) to ensure seamless operations and alignment with overall business objectives.
